This newly renovated clean and functional apartment is situated in the heart of Montmartre and boasts wonderful views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Only a few minutes walk from the Sacré Coeur it's a perfect location for those wanting to enjoy the authentic village atmosphere that has attracted artists, writers and actors here for centuries.

At your doorstep you will find the Place Emile Goudeau where Picasso lived during his blue period. You will also see many of the locations from "Amelie" which was filmed almost entirely in Montmartre. The nearest métro is only one minute away at Abbesses.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (no lift) and sleeps 3 on two quality fold-out sofa beds - one in the study area and one in the living area. Recently renovated, great care has been taken by the owner to make the most of the space using contemporary furniture and good storage. There are wooden parquet flooring throughout.

You enter the apartment into a small entrance hall that leads to the kitchen/dining area (15ft7 x 8ft10, 4.75m x 2.70m). Here you will find a round wooden dining table with 3 chairs and a modern kitchen with all the expected appliances including oven, induction hobs, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.

Two doors lead from the kitchen to the living and study areas, both of which double as bedrooms.

The living area (13ft9 x 8ft6, 4.20m x 2.60m) has an Italian designed sofa which pulls out (in one movement) into a bed (4ft9, 1.45m wide). There is also good cupboard space a small table and chair, and a radio (but no TV).

The study area (13ft6 x 7ft, 4.10m x 2.10m) has a fold out sofa bed (3ft3, 1m wide), good cupboard space and a desk and chair. There is also high speed internet access, bring your own laptop.

The bathroom, just across the hall, has been well designed and is clean and functional with a large wash basin, loo and a walk-in shower cubicle built with modern glass blocks.

Montmartre is well known for its traditional restaurants, cafés and bistros and there are lots to choose from. We suggest you try La Famille on the rue des Trois Frères a restaurant that mixes contemporary and traditional cuisine. However be sure to book early as this truly is the "in" restaurant of the moment.

Look out for La Pomponette on the rue des Abbesses a traditional French restaurant that has been in the same family for almost a century. There is also the nearby Caves des Abbesses on the same street where you can enjoy cheese and charcuterie whilst tasting wine from all over France.
