This spacious family apartment is located in the peaceful 7^th arrondossement whilst only a stone's throw away from the lively 6^th!

Indeed one only needs to cross the boulevard Raspail to find oneself in the heart of one of Paris's best shopping spots - St Germain-des-Prés is only a short walk away, as is the river Seine. Close by, The Jardin de Luxembourg is an ideal place to get away from it all after a hard day's sight-seeing or shopping! Your nearest métro, Sevre Babylone, is a one minute walk.

The apartment is on two floors, ground and first, and sleeps 6 in two double bedrooms and two singles, with 2 bathrooms. It has been decorated in a contemporary style and modern paintings adorn the walls. Its colourful atmosphere reflects an artistic family - there's a piano in the living area.

On the ground floor one enters into a large hallway/reception area where shoes and outdoor wear are stored. A small flight of stairs leads up to the living area and one is immediately struck by the large colourful "Basquiat" style painting that dominates the far wall. In this area you will find a large 3 seater sofa, a 2 seater sofa, a "Corbusier" chair, a "butterfly chair", a rocking chair and a large piano for the musicians amongst you.

There is also a flat-screen TV (CNN, BBC) and a broadband wifi connection.

The dining area had a wooden dining table that comfortably sits 6 people. The area is separated from the kitchen by some sliding doors which are generally left open so the chef can share in the festivities!

Here you will find all the expected appliances including hobs, oven, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine.

The main bedroom is located separately from the others and has its own ensuite shower room. There is a large double bed (5ft3, 1.60m wide), a desk (with computer) a bedside table with reading lamp and plenty of storage space.

In the ensuite bathroom / utility space you will find a shower cubicle, a wash basin and a loo. A washing machine and dryer are also located here.

The 3 others bedrooms are situated along the corridor on the other side of the apartment and all share a bathroom - small bathtub with hand shower, wash basin and loo

The second bedroom offers a double bed (4ft7, 1.40m wide) a small decorative fireplace, a bedside table and plenty of storage space. The third bedroom has a single bed, a desk with reading lamp and plenty of storage space; the fourth offers a single bed, a double sofa and a chair and desk.

This apartment is located in one of the most upmarket shopping areas of Paris. Indeed Le Bon Marché, one of Paris' most famous department stores is located right next door! Stroll down the rue de Rennes toward Montparnasse or explore the winding streets of St Germain with its designer shops.

Stop for a coffee at the Café les Deux Magots, the Café des Flores or the Brasserie Lipp, all frequented by the writers of the "Lost Generation" of the 20s and 30s, and by the post World War II Existentialists.
