This beautiful one bedroom apartment is situated in one of, if not the, most picturesque areas of Paris. Given its standing and location it's good value for money and a haven of peace! Tucked away in the cobbled streets above the 'place Dalida' it is hard to find anywhere more French!

|
Indeed it is truly the Paris of films where old iron lampposts light the streets at night, small independent theatres buzz with the excitement of an opening night, wonderful smells from the abundance of authentic French restaurants waft through the air and lovers embrace on the most romantic of the famous Montmartre staircases.
The apartment is a one minute walk from the Moulin de la Galette one of the last original wooden windmills of Paris, and a stone's throw away from many famous sights such as the Sacré Coeur, the Montmartre vineyard, the famous Lapin Agile Caberet and of course Abesses made famous by the film Amelie. This is the Paris of poets and artists. The nearest métro is a 3 minute walk away at Lamark.
The apartment sleeps 3 people comfortably in one double bedroom and a large sofa-bed in the living area. There is also the possibility of sleeping a child or young adult on a blow up mattress.

The apartment is located on the 2nd floor (no lift) and has been recently renovated. The owner has paid particular attention to detail and has given the apartment a light, airy feel. It has been decorated with hues of white and ivory and the painted wooden floorboards reflect light to great effect. A pleasant little park is viewed from the windows.
|
You enter the apartment into a small hall which gives onto the kitchen and living area. A small bar separates the kitchen from the living area.

In the living area (15.75ft x 12ft , 4.80m x 3.35m) you will find a sofa that doubles as a single bed, a small wooden dining table with 3 chairs and a decorative Moroccan fireplace.
|
|
Large double doors open onto the main bedroom (14.86ft x 12ft, 4.55m x 3.35m) which offers a double bed (4ft6, 1.4m wide), a antique desk with chair, large storage space and a flat screen TV with cable channels (CNN, BBC). There is also broadband internet access.

The kitchen with marble worktop and brass fittings has all the expected appliances including oven, hobs and coffee machine, although there is no dishwasher. The bathroom, also with brass fittings, has a Moroccan in feel and boasts a claw-foot bathtub, a large washbasin and a washer / dryer.

The area around the apartment offers a wonderful choice of bistros, brasseries and restaurants. We recommend you try the Moulin de la Galette a great little restaurant on the rue Lepic, which is situated below an old wooden windmill and serves great French cuisine - make sure you reserve in advance. Further down the same road you will find La Pomponette which has remained in the same family since 1806 and offers a traditional French cuisine that is hard to find nowadays. Not to be missed!
This is a No Smoking property.
